What Should I Bring to a Gulet Cruise?

Holidays are perfect for recreational activities and getting back in touch with nature. While there are different kinds of vacations with respect to myriad activities, cruising is one such activity that you can enjoy if you are thrilled by the sight of the ‘great blue’ or even just the vastness of the horizon.

What is a Gulet Cruise?

A gulet is traditionally a sailing-vessel often spotted in the Mediterranean near Turkey. It has two or three wooden masts and is made on the south-western coast of Turkey. Since no gulet is identical to another, they differ in height, length, breadth, and their depth to carry and allow accommodation to up to thirty persons. On average, their range lies between fifteen and thirty-five meters. But, gulets made in Alaturka come with double or even quadruple rooms that make them ideal for families to hire.   They run on diesel engines by a crew and are equipped with luxuries such as sundecks, below deck cabins, suite bathrooms, indoor salon and bar along with cushioned outdoor lounging area to have the best experience at the sea.

What Should You Bring to a Gulet Cruise?

Being on a cruise shall require packing light but also the essentials. Since most hours will be spent on the cruise, casual clothes would be ideal, or you could always shop at the numerous stalls for something exotic looking.   Getting the essentials involves carrying not just a pair of each of the following such as sunglasses, hats, swimsuits, but also something for chilly nights to protect you from cold. Also, you should carry sunscreen without fail along with personal hygiene products, music, camera, universal adapters/converter pins, insect repellent, extra glasses or contact lenses, and a pair of flip-flops and comfortable shoes too.  The gulet cruise will be a memorable experience for you and your family if you follow the crew instructions and importantly also forget to worry about trivialities of life!
